Split Rock - 10x8

Split Rock is a hand printed linocut, measuring 10x8 inches, inspired by the lighthouse of the same name on Lake Superior. Split Rock Lighthouse was built in 1910 and officially retired in 1969. It is now a popular landmark in Minnesota. Restored and serving as the centerpiece to the Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, they offer tours as well as excellent camping and hiking opportunities.

To make this print the artist carved the image out of a linoleum block and then carefully inked and hand pressed onto paper.  Using oil-based ink and 100% cotton archival paper, you are sure to enjoy your art for years to come.

Each print will have unique marks of the handmade process.  This makes every image an original.  Split Rock is a limited edition of 80 prints.  They are numbered and signed by the artist.
